بعد مرور 22 عاما من كارثة حديقة الديناصورات في الجزء الأول، وعلى جزيرة (أيلا نوبلار) ذاتها، تفتح حديقة (العالم الجوراسي) أبوابها أخيرًا للجمهور، ويتوافد عليها آلاف الزائرين كل يوم، إلى أن يحدث شيءٌ ما خطأ، وتخرج الديناصورات من محابسها لتنشر الفوضى في أنحاء الجزيرة.
